I did 14.5 before I realized that gas was shooting out of my car. Does that mean I win? Lol jk stupid pump was broken or something. It didnt stop by itself :/

 

I couldn't find the gas door release, so I just filled up the cabin.

I went to a track, and it drained to nothing. I put in 48.6L of fuel which translates (for you americans) to what I posted above, 12.83 gallons.

 

This car's gas gauge scares the crap out of me. I swear it goes from 1/4 bars to 0 bars in about 15 miles.

Checked my logbook (started tracking gas purchases in 1975 and never learned how to stop doing it), I must be a chicken. My largest fill-up was my very 1st, 08/16/2007 at 12.273 gallons, which got me 302.1 miles. 24.62 MPG. Most of my fill-ups since have been between 10.5 and 11.5 gallons.

 

I push the gas light almost every tank, not sure why...I generally fill up with 11.8-12.4ish gallons. I've run completely out twice(once in AP1 once in AP2) and neither time did it go over 12.7gal before the pump shut off.

 

Sounds like it's a safe bet to get gas as soon as the bars are gone...cuz in actuality there isn't much gas left! I can go 50 miles when the gas light comes on in my Altima.

 

I don't want to beat that record.
