Whats the button on the air vents do?

umm, AC saps power from the engine, doesn't it? it also makes revs drop faster in between shifts (not a big deal but it's different). this has happened on all 3 acura/hondas that i've owned....no one else experiences this? maybe it's all in my head.

has anyone ever dyno'd with the AC on? i would have to bet that the numbers would be lower, but what the heck do i know? i also heard that the car will shut down the AC during WOT....so maybe gentle, normal acceleration is only affected.

thoughts?

like said in other threads, in the S, the A/C condenser (what saps the power from the belt drive) disables due to a clutch mechanism on WOT.

So if you want power, just floor it.

I thought that button was to activate the invisible force field in the cabin with the top down... in order to repel bugs, dirt, and flying burritos....

Thats certainly what mine does. I don't want Will Ferrel causing me to have a car crash.
