on the left side of the display by the plus and minus which brightens and dims the display is text that says cancel.

Cancel what?

 

Cancel the brightness level you have set and restore the default setting.

 

Took me a little while to figure this one out. If you have your lights on but you want the dash to be at maximum brigthness hold the cancel button down for three seconds or so and it'll brighten up. This is good for dusk/dawn or if your driving during the day with the lights on.

 

Or if you've installed a blue filter in your dash and you just wanna look at its sweetness all the time .
