I just got an '05 with 1.5k miles on it couple weeks ago, myself. Believe it or not, the spring spacers are still there!!!

As everybody said here, you can't really do much to it with minor mods. It is pretty darn close to perfect out of the box, unlike most production cars.

Trust us, and this is my third S, you'll do more harm than good. Hope your car comes with a manual, it's a best place to start.
