Maybe I am confused, but why do you get a convertable and then get a windscreen and plugs for the air screen mesh behind the head? I thought the whole point of a convertable is to have the feeling of the wind blowing in your face and through your hair...Or am I just confused?

You can get too much of anything that feels good in small doses
The wind and turbulence get a bit tiresome and/or chilly in the long run.

everyone has their own preferences, but as i've stated a year ago in regards to this: during the hot summer days it's great to have the wind in your hair, but when i transition from downtown LA to the West Side the sudden drop in temperature plays havoc with my migrane, hence my need to have a screen.

By having a windscreen that cuts some of the buffeting and turbulence, you can enjoy conversation with your passenger and you can hear the radio more readily.
