What's this switch for.
I just came back from the collision shop and they showed me a switch at the bottom of the OEM Radiator that I need to replace because it's broken. What is this switch. Also I have bought a new Koyo Racing Rad to replace the OEM one, do I need to replace the switch, does it come with one. Any help would be awesome.
Oh ya if anybody knows someone that is selling Headlight assembly's can you please refer me to them. I've searched but it's a pain to find current ads.
Thanks

rad,
That is the radiator fan switch. It feeds the relay in the main fuse box. The point of this switch is to measure the temperature in the coolant (switch closes above 199degF) and turn on the fans when you need them.

awesome, thanks. Do you know if aftermarket Rads have the port already on them to accept the switch. I sure hope so. Again thanks for the response. I'm trying to piece back my car after a crash.
