^^ Do you drive hard or FI?? That's kinda early changing your oil if you don't. You really wouldn't get your moneys worth if you change it so fast on synthetic. Their meant to last at least 5k if not more especially if you dont drive hard. Just trying to help out so you dont spend more money than you really need to.
EDIT: Are you saying you only change your oil once a year in the spring and that you only drive 3k in a year? If thats the case WOW, but I would probably change it at 5k or 6 months, whichever comes first. I dont know if I want oil past 6 months old in my car. But thats just me.

How many people are using the original Honda oil filter or are you using another type like K&N? Are there better filters out there? The Honda filter for the S2000 seems very small, the filter for my wifes Odyssey is the same size as a riding lawnmower.
