View Poll Results: What brand do you prefer for a Supercharger (Comptech vs. Vortech)
Voters: 32. You may not vote on this poll
What's your taste?
Well, I've been surfing the boards and it seems comptech is the popular choice.
But if given the choice I wouldn't mind either seeing that it is quite similar in price, power gains, and reliability, atleast from what I've been reading on the boards.
Anyone have any comments? don't forget to vote! I added some other poll options to make it interesting

The main difference between the Comptech and the Vortech is that you have to tap the oil pan on the Vortech, and some people don't want to do this. However I don't see any evidence that one is more or less reliable than the other. IIRC the Vortech makes a smidge more power.

Main difference is the tapping of the oil pan on the Vortech and the Comptech is a basic bolt on. Also the Comptech being carb legal. I think both are great kits.
BTW, I voted for Comptech just cause I'm an owner.....

I have Comptech with CAI and it has worked perfectly with no problems. I am not against Vortech, but I have no prior experience with them. The same of Turbo's. And as far as N/A goes, more power is always a plus... no matter how many people on the forum tell you, "If you want a dragster get a Slomaro or a Rustang".
