wheel and tire issues
haha agreed...lets stick with this one...so i think im just gonna go ahead and do that...move the front tires to teh rear and get the BFG 205s...i dont plan driving my car too spirited for the first set of tires as the car is very new to me and i wanna take it easy for a good while....that being said..i checked tirerack and it says the BFG traction t/a V is a high performance tire...thats the one i got...there is another traction t/a and traction t/a spec which are just touring tires...so is it safe to say that the BFG that are high performance will be somewhat decent for me considering i wont be going overboard? ive been making good habits of being VERY subtle with my steering and throttle inputs.

I already combined two threads here... is there another one in a different forum?

It's a lower performance class than a summer only tire.
The oversteer tendency will be less with a staggered setup. Some of the autocross guys do a non-staggered 245 setup all around. But usually countered by a stiffer front bar.
It'll feel more neutral when you move the tires around and go back to a properly setup configuration.

yea..im an idiot and made one in the wheel and tire section cause i thought it would be the more appropriate section..newbie mistake yet again...sorry

Wheel and tire is actually the appropriate forum. It's just that S2000 Talk gets more traffic. Since you really needed help ASAP, I left this one here. I may move it when you get your stuff sorted out.
yea i have decided...im gonna have sears move the front tires to the rear and get the same tire in 205 for the front...i can live with the lower performance for the life of this tires cuz i wont be pushing the car to its limits for a while until i get a grasp on it. my rears are pretty worn because although the vibration and handling sucked when the front rims were on the rear and rear were on the front, the BFG seemed to grip better when i took 90degree turns at higher speeds
Sounds good, you should be fine. Just remember, be smooove with steering and throttle inputs (on and off the throttle). If the back end ever starts to come around, abruptly jumping off the throttle or on the brakes will only ensure that you spin! This car doesn't like aggressive inputs, it requires some restraint and subtlety at the helm.
good advice, i will defintely keep that in mind...do you recommend i find myself an empty parking lot to try and find the cars "limits" and practice controlling? this being my first RWD ive read a lot about mildly steering into the skid when i feel the back end pull around
