I believe its 2.5

Although its not good to run it that low, the fuel pump is an in-tank pump and uses the fuel that surrounds it to cool it down, running it that low all the time can cause it to overheat and cause fuel pump problems down the line.

i get too paranoid when the fuel light comes on, but yeah jb55 is right. you usually have about 2 gallons left. i believe ap1s have 13.2 or 13.5 gallon tanks.

Last week at the dragon I got caught with low fuel. I was able to get 50 miles out of 0 bars and it still had about 3/4 of a gallon in the tank when I filled it up.

Yeah i had 1 bar left and was only able to put in like 10.7 gallons. I try to fill up by 3-4 bars left.

Anyone else have the problem of when the pump wants to stop filling it, its to the point of basically over flowing? Iv had that happen the past 2 times.

It must depend on the station's pumps. I've had times where I can get another $1.00+ of gas in the tank, and other times where one more squeeze has caused an overflow

2.5 gallons in my experience, give or take a little.

I fill up shortly after the light comes on pretty regularly and it always puts me at 10.5-11 gallons to fill.
