Here is the sad truth gentlemen.....

If you want anything that comes close to the fix you get driving your S, you'll need to nearly double up on the pricetag.
I think that's the truth. The only car I think I would rather have right now would be the Boxster S, and that's only a maybe. The Porsche crowd is just way too old compared to the S2000 crowd. They certainly don't have the internet community that we have here. And the Boxster S is going to be $55k...there's no way I could justify spending that much. That is, if I even COULD .

I plan on keeping my S until they ban the internal combustion engine.

When I get out of school and have a solid job, I'll probably buy something like a 3-series sedan and keep the S for a weekend toy. Just got the S, so that'd be perfect. A three year-old car with around 40-50k miles is the perfect thing to move into the garage for Sunday drives.

I dont have any intentions of selling my s2000...Not now....not ever...However I will probably pick up another daily driver in the future (long in the future...when the s is paid off...4 more years !)

I was reading a buddies "fast fords and muscle mustang" magazine at work (I was bored ) and saw that Ford is going to be realeasing an SVT Explorer Sport Track in 2007 ! It is increddible and comes with the 380hp blown v8...the looks are astonishing...Keep in mind I hate the look of the sport tracs for sell now...but this thing is sexy...I need an SUV anyway's, alongside my s...So why settle for a step down in performance?...Straight line anyway...I hope to pick one up around 2008-2010 ...But i'm sure by then something else out there will strike my eye...I came so close to buying an evo before I got the s2000...and I DONT regret my decision of going with the s over the evo one bit...I LOVE THIS CAR. ...Depending on the price of the svt sport trac...it will more then likely be my next vehicle...It will look nice sitting next to the s.

The S2000 really is a superb drivers machine with an awesome little atmosferic engine Since I have mine for only 1 month now (3100km already) I asked myself what could ever be the next step upward... The S2500 5L in 2009 perhaps from the SSM showcar?

But I always told myself my next car would be at least a V6 with a sequential gearbox and metal folding roof... Well, here I am in my S2000 and not missing a thing at all

If Honda would not make a successor (which they have to ), I dream silently of a little Aston Martin once and a while Some dreams have to remain dreams however says my bank account, so Honda will have to deliver
