I usually get waved at by grandpas in Miatas, they probably think we have the same car. I'm afraid of crazy-ass S2000 drivers so I just hide.
Back in the 90's when I rolled a Samurai people would stop me all the time to talk about it. Very strange. I painted it bright yellow, shaved everything, and dropped it 3". Most people didn't know what it was. It looked very odd in retrospect, especially in NH where everyone drives a Subaru wagon.
