Where can I get dual-colored turn signal bulbs?
Does anybody know where I can get those bulbs that are dual-colored? As in, when it's not on, they're a light bluish color & when they're turned on, they're amber? I'm about to have my headlights cleared-out & I'd like to use these in the headlight otherwise, I'll just stick to amber bulbs for my turn signals. If it helps, they're called the 7440 bulbs. Thanks!

OK, I just found out that Osram makes them, however I don't know if they're available in the 7440 shape or not. It's called the Osram Diadem. Please help.

I think Phillips makes something similar...
Also, I've heard people on other boards talk about painting the amber bulb silver so it looks and works correctly...
Just food for thought... sorry I can't help more.

I sprayed mine. It worked great - no obvious reduction in luminosity when lit - and it only cost me $1 for the silver spray can. I also swapped over to clear side markers and sprayed the bulbs in there too. It makes a definite improvement.
