Sounds good, might want to do compression check before installing if you are unsure of the history.

You having issues trying to replace your engine, and you *think* about trying to beat someone with a Comptech supercharger?

You are focked in the head.

Grow up, pay for school and move on from the S2000.

I want to know why you're blowing such low mileage motors. Are you revving past 9000? What are you doing to these things? Serious question.

The F20 and F22 are made to take a beating. These things just don't wear out at such low mileage unless something is very wrong.

Whoa, a little aggressive there. I'll just ignore you and avoid the e-argument.

Thank you for your two cents though

The first one went out due to a mis-shift, it was 100% driver error. The second one had a rod that snapped off and put two holes in the block, idk what caused that. I know these motors are designed to take such a beating and deal with the abuse. My first motor was as strong an Ox, the second one.. Eh not so much. Either way, I just want to get my car back on the road.

So the motor that I purchased from AZ came in yesterday and my mechanic called me a couple minutes ago to let me know that the motor's shit basically. He said the crankshaft's bad. I bought the motor via PayPal, is there any way to get a refund and send it back to the (private) seller? If not, what can I do to salvage this motor? I'll be going to the shop soon to take a look for myself and then I'll report back.

*Mods, please don't close this thread. I'm using it for documentation at this point.

If you want to beat a SC S2k, my best advice would be to keep the current S2k stock and buy something faster-GTR perhaps?

Sorry to hear about your issues with the engine. Standard eBay has a warranty, but eBay motors often does not. Hopefully you can work it out with the seller.

Sorry, I'm assuming eBay. You didn't purchase an engine with PayPal from just anyone, did you? I would always purchase such items with a credit card so you'll have some backup against fraud.

You should never buy a cheap engine without physically looking at it or testing it first.

Hmm, idk if the GTR comment was to be taken serious but thanks for the tip. I was actually asking what cars would a Comptech supercharged S2K be able to hang with at stock boost?

It's all good now, I got the motor for cheap so problems were to be expected I guess. The rebuild has already started
