They took a lot of parts off, but certainly did not remove the engine. It was just painted up to the inside edge of the hood.
So you did a half assed job?

DO NOT COLOR CHANGE without pulling ALL parts you can pull, motor included.

I think it's just a fix it ticket or pretty cheap, and no it won't affect insurance.

oh and my front plate has never been on for the last 7 years or so.
Well, in that case, where can I get the two things to plug the holes if I were to take the front plates off? I hate the front plates too. At least the Euro plates are thinner and would fit better.

its a law in NY to have a front plate....but as you can see i dont have one. when the cops stop me i tell them the car looks better without it. they usually laugh and let me go...knock on wood no tickets yet!

fyi, whoever doesnt use the car in the rain (like me) take the wipers off as well, you'll love the look!
i take my wipers off on all my cars when it doesnt rain.. i dont tell too many people about it ..cuz i like to be unique. .i know alot of people know about it.. but get lazy to take it off and on when it rains and not.. i do it.. and love the look and know what you mean.. wish i can make it stay on the car.. but go lowerinto the hood when not in use.. like alot of nicer cars have.. the wiper blades dont show when not in use

Hey, so how much is the ticket for missing front plates in Jersey? It is mandatory here in Massachussetts too, but I really hate the front plates, especially on the S2000 since it kinda sticks out half way down. On my accord, at least the bumper is big enough that it doesn't look weird.

Anyone know how much these plugs cost? Funny, but they don't list the plugs in the dealership accessories books, but I guess they carry it nevertheless? So far, no one has commented on how much a ticket costs for missing plates, I think that is a main deciding factor for me too.

They're like 7-8 bucks prepainted. Hardtopguy has them, and I believe H and A has them as well.
