Interesting. Can anyone who lives in a state or country where front plates are required confirm? Maybe they have different holes, sizes depending on where you live and the requirements for front plates? I'd hate to have drill some extra holes just to use the plugs.

I have a replacement OEM bumper in my living room. It has four holes in the front from the factory. The plugs just go right in.

I have helped convert at least two S2000's to the to the DMV club. They just got plugs and installed them after removing the plate.

DO IT! FRONT PLATES SUCK ASS!

I have mine mounted without any brackets using te stock bumper holes. Just used some plastic door stopper stuff on the back of the plate to prevent any damage to the paint. it looks pretty clean especially because my car is white and CA plates are plain white.

Good thread. I like the how the 'Green car' mounted them on the lower front because it's actually functional too. That is, I've unfortunately scraped the bottom of the front lip on a curb or parking block too many times. I'd rather have a bent up plate.

i know this sounds "ghetto" but with some velcro you can mount it anywhere you like...been running my front velcroed to the front for some time to avoid drilling my CF front bumper...so far so good...I ditched it on my old car and got 1 no plate ticket as well. The cops are horrible where my girlfriend lives and since shes home from college its stayin on for now since she lives in the township i got the no plate ticket from
