Get the ricks, looks good + more airflow into the radiator
1000X's better than the stock mounting bracket.... If you have to have your plate, this is the way to go....

S2Kracka is right. If you want it to look like a factory job you will want more than just masking. To get the edges of all those parts they must be removed from the car.

My repaint, including removal and filling of all the emblems and side markers was $6,200. That includes the hardtop.

I think green is the ugliest color on a car. Matter of fact, I hate green. For some reason, I love the way your car looks. Perfect shade. What exact color is that if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks...I like it too. In fact I'm constantly stopped by people and told how much they like the color.

In a former life I had a 1969 Camaro SS in "Rallye Green". I really liked that color, so when I decided to paint my S, that's the color I was looking for (the new Laguna Blue was not out yet).

I visited a local body shop who had done some excellent work for me. They have books of colors you can go through (much like a paint store) until you find the color you like. Oddly enough, this color was a former Peugeot color!

It is a deep, metallic emerald green that has lots of "life".

Rick's holder is the best option if you insist on running a front plate. I used that holder for the past 6 months, but have taken it off again (well, took it off to wax and never replaced it). The front end looks so much better with no front plate.

[QUOTE=VintageMac,Feb 7 2006, 07:32 PM] They took a lot of parts off, but certainly did not remove the engine.

17 years of driving in california, new york and texas without front plates, now back in cali and still no front plate on all 3 cars. if i get ticketed once every 20 years for missing front plates, i will be more than happy to pay the fine and continue driving without front plates.

its a law in NY to have a front plate....but as you can see i dont have one. when the cops stop me i tell them the car looks better without it. they usually laugh and let me go...knock on wood no tickets yet!

fyi, whoever doesnt use the car in the rain (like me) take the wipers off as well, you'll love the look!
