Default Where do you mount your Valentine

I was thinking about buying a Valentine One radar detector. So I have a couple of questions. First where to buy one at a good price? Where to mount the detector, between the seats? And is it really the best radar detector on the market today? Thanks for help.

I mounted my V1 here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...40&goto=newpost

There is only one place to buy a new V1. You could also look on eBay or in the Group Buy section here for individual sales of used units.

The V1 has been very effective for MY driving circumstances.

Good Luck,
James

My first thought when seing the subject was "In the bedroom."

In any case, I don't have a V1 but if I did I would put it just below the rear-view mirror, with the power wire run inside the windshield frame.

My V1 is on the passenger side of my rear view mirror...The power wire is run under the windshield trim, directly through were the a-pillar trim meets the dash, then straight down to the fuse box where it is hardwired as in the FAQ..Only thing you see when it is removed is about 2cm of cord with the power plug sticking out of the window trim next to the mirror..my concealed display is mounted under the air conditioning controls like many others have done...since the sound bounces off the windshield, the volume all the way up is adequate to hear even at high speeds with the top down..don't need the audio accessory...

sorry no pics..
