My dog has gas, maybe you can just take her for a ride. BTW, 112 miles with one bar left, that's not very good mileage..if you move that little stick to your right, the engine makes less noise and it will go faaaaaaaast!

What? You guys aren't using the dilithium crystals specified in the manual?

You guys are missing something, didn't your dealer tell you about the Insight option, I paid $3,300 dollars for it and my gas consumption is practically nil. And the neat thing is the plug is right behind the tow hook cover on the front bumper. Of course I lost all my trunk space to lithium batteries but hey if you want energy efficiency you have to be willing to sacrifice. Then again the other sacrifice is she weighs 5500lbs and does 0-60 in 9.4...

Did you find any improvement for your 0-60? I'm planning to do the same.
For added performance the dealer recommends cutting the passenger side floorboard out as well and traveling with track stars. This should also improve 0-60 times. At a minimum I should see some blistering 100 yard dash times.

I have the same problem. Any TSB for this?

Also, I don't know if that's related, but the manual specifically mentioned that you should *not* put in any gas in the first 600 miles for proper break-in.

Just my two cents.

TSB0066 states emphatically: "Use only diesel fuel in the Honda S2000 to avoid embarassment to anyone who tries to challenge your vehicle to a contest of speed. The use of a gasoline product of 93 octane or higher could lead to ungodly acceleration and VTEC rapture. The Honda Motor Company will not be held responsible for such rapture nor will it honor it's warranty under such circumstances."

Just so you know we have the same problems here in Europe. I asked for gas and was told it costs $4.20 a gallon. So I asked if they had any petrol. No luck. I'm counting on the guys in the UK forum to help me out on this one. If they can't help, a Group Buy is my only lifeline.
Hey, the dipstick challenge was easy compared to this!
