Default Where to get Gas...

When I first got my S2K, I used to go to and Exxon Gas Station to get my gas and for some reason the car just felt really low powered and not that responsive... so one day I decided to go to a Shell and the car performed so much better... VERY noticeable!!!!! I've been going there since then.

Now I know there have been a few posts on here of people saying that it doesn't really matter where you get the gas cause it all comes from the same place, but here's the list of which Gas Stations are on top and actually supply good gasoline for our babies.....

I've always liked Chevron. Unfortunately, they're hard to come by.

Shell FTW!!!

I've always used shell for the S and i picked it among some of those others on the list due to this simple fact...

Shell's premium gas has V-power and i like to think V-power=VTEC power

I go to Shell unless there's a Mobile station nearby(those are hard to find here). In a pinch I'll hit Exxon or Chevron.

Note: I know that Exxon and Mobile are essentially the same company.

Chevron is my brand of choice, but most of the time I get 76 gas.
The debate goes on about gas is gas and in truth, all gas providers be it Chevron, Shell, etc all get their gas from the same exact place (a public well if you will). The additives, most will argue, doesn't even differ as much either. Here's the thing though, although quality from the "public well" is fairly good, that doesn't mean that's what you're going to get. Where Chevron adds their techron, Shell adds their V-Power additive, etc, other places may add other chemicals that may not be as potent as those additives and perhaps even water down the gas (not with water of course). I believe it was Arco that ran into a bit of trouble for watering down their gas too much (correct me if I'm wrong).
However recently they measured mileage and dynoed cars using different brands of gas and well the differences were negligible. Summary: extra dollar or two for piece of mind is worth it to me. Chevron ftw.
