Where To Get ITB's From?
ive been seein some s2k's with indivudual throttle bodies and they look hot. does anyone who sells ITB's and roughly what they're priced around? thanks
most of them are in the custom built stage. jenvey will be coming out with production ITB's soon. expect to pay at least $2500 just for the ITB's. pricey but worth it, gives you much better midrange.
you couldn't potentialy damage you engine by sucking in water, pebbles, sand? Things along these lines. you can def. run them on the street but I dont know about daily driving, do you have ITB's?

Dee - it's not as simple as slapping on ITBs and that's it. Expect to pay $2800 for the cheapest set of ITBs with injectors from LHP. That is without any fuel management. So expect to pay added money for fuel management. $1500 for an AEM EMS and all the sensors. Now calculate in the time to tune, and install everything. You are easily looking at around $4500 to $5000 when all is said and done. Cheaper if you can get away with using the emanage. But you'd still be looking around $3.5 to $4k.
ITB's are fine for everyday driving. Unless you drive through sand storms, pebble mountains, and or extreme rain storms with your hood taken off everyday
With proper fuel management and some good air/fuel tuning on the Dyno, the S2000 will run like a champ as a daily driver.
Would your engine be more exposed to the elements then with out ITB's? Of course but hardly enough to make a significant difference. And defiantly not enough to label the car a "non daily driver
