good info, read it and now I think I have even more questions than before. I migth just leave the 80/81 I have right now and pull the ecu fuse. But when I'm racing your not always at 100 percent throttle (shifting, roll starts, track) so I dunno.

Hope that helps
Thanks!

Again, I have to say that I like the glove box install. That seems like a smart place to put the head end. I don't use the glove box much at all. Maybe for a checkbook while I drive.

Can your Puddy put in different settings at the head end, or is it a static setup.

Love the dog pic by the way.

For cryin' out lout!...
Can the VAFC be set through the head end? Is the head end just a display, or is it an input device that sets points? That's all I'm asking?
I do lots of track time and am looking for something that will allow me to experiment... That after all is the only reason why I go to road course events... to see if my latest mod really makes a difference. So far, what I have does. Now, I want more power.

You can set whatever you want through the head unit. But I don't think you would want to without a tech and dyno.

Thanks. Good enough.
So, it would be best to have a dyno session?
