Whistling noise
Did a search--no results.
Do any of you experience a slight whistling/whining noise while lightly accelerating in fourth gear at about 40 to 45 mile an hour? Sounds like its coming from the transmission area. Gear whir, or something.
Not a big deal, just wondering.

Dave,
I definately noticed that noise in 4th gear (and sometimes a little in third). I noticed it more when the car was brand new, now it has 1045 miles and I don't seem to hear it much anymore. It sounded to me like a whinny rear end, but I am not sure. Keep me up-to-date if you hear any more about it.
