Sometimes I notice when taking off in first gear slowly I will hear a whine up till about 10mph in 1st gear then it goes away as I get faster and shift into 2nd, is this a normal sound. Second sometimes when I have the windows up/radio off, I can hear either a barely audible whine, or maybe its the tires I am hearing over the road at say around 60mph or so. I am probably making a big deal over nothing, I am jus not used to driving a RWD sports car that is so raw, what do you guys think?

the whine comes from the rear of the car or the front?

rear but its not very loud it seems speed dependent , isnt it normal for a rwd car to make a little noise?
