Who
I don't mind the recent posts that I have read. Some of them are looking for opinions on which way to go on upcoming products. I do believe, that not too long ago, you were doing the exact same thing. If you are talking about something different, I apologize. If it is the latter, I have not even noticed them.
Rick --
I think it's time to split the forums, for many of the reasons you've listed. I don't want to point any fingers or really complain, since I _do_ think our sponsors are generally "good folks" and I certainly appreciate that without some of them we'd be awfully short of products for our S2000's. But it has started to be just a bit much.

Rick,
I agree with your take on this subject. The sponsors clearly need another forum for Group Buys, New Products, and possibly responses from S 2000 owners about these products. I plead guilty to running 4 or 5 group buys and cluttering up the forum. The threads, however, are to let the members of S2000 International get a discount on these products.
Back In December cthree put a note that a Forum was being worked on, but I have not seen anything about this since. Two seperate forums, one items for sale by individuals, and other forum for the sponsors seems like the only logical approach.
Not only would this make it easier to find out about the sponsors products, it would also give all of us a chance to give input on new ideas for products, and how to improve existing ones.

David McCune Jr.

Rick - I give you much credit for bringing this topic to light, and to be honest, I do agree with your position. I have been getting annoyed seeing the countless posts from vendors when I go into the for sale forum. A few months ago, I picked up a great used radio for my car from a private seller and I frequent the forum to find other great buys. But time and time again, I find myself skipping the forum because the plethora of vendor posts consuming practically the entire forum (but I have nothing personally against the vendors, mind you) and commoditizing the original intent of the forum, I believe. A separate section would be ideal to separate the markets in which we all engage in: private sales vs. vendor sales.
Thanks for your honesty and proposition - I think it would go a long way for all us at the end of the day...

I created a poll to sort this out. I will do as you specify... https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=42060
I think most if not all of the sponsors will agree. We'd be better off with our own forum. It just doesn't make sense to mix it up with individual owners who are trying to sell one or two things.
