Default Who has changed the light diffusers themselves?

Just wondering if it's something I could really mess up if I did it myself. I have read over some directions....i think Ricks. It doesn't look too bad. Just want some opinions from people who have done it themselves

Just be careful, when you bake them, don't put the oven on BROIL!!!
Seriously,it scares me too;but Rick's can do it for you,for a reasonable fee.
Comes winter time,I'll send mine to Rick's,to have them done. winter project, this and the steering wheel.

spugen did mine and i watched...
yes you can do it if you are really careful.

while i was there another owner brought his car in cause he did not seal them properly and they were getting moisture inside.
cant tell from your avatar where you are (you might want to fix that)- the work is not expensive and imo its worth it to have it done right.

I did mine on my old Protege5. It is MUCH easier with a heat gun....kinda hard to screw it up.

I did it using Rick's directions and had no problems at all. If you look at those directions and think "this looks easy" then you can probably do it.

Answer the following questions:
Can you read and comprehend above a 5th grade level?
Do you have decent motor skills, able to walk and chew gum at the same time?
Do you have an oven and understand how to use it?
Will your parents let you play with fire?

If you can answer "Yes" the above go for it and just follow the instructions that Rick provides on his website.

There is always the fear of screwing something up. HOw much did you pay for Spugen to install? Are they in the Valley?

holy crap....ive done plenty of these for other owners for FREE - it is really simple to do - for the first time expect it to take you about 3 hours. (including bumper and light removal and replacement).

maybe i should start charging $100 a time!
