Who has driven both a 2004 and a pre 2004?
[QUOTE=GeorgeP,Sep 26 2004, 07:44 AM] I have driven both side by side and switched cars back and forth on an airport runway. There are a lot of differences. Overall the 04 is without question quicker. In fact it walked away from my 02 and a heavily modded 01.
I had a MY02 and now own a MY04. Since I use my car as a daily driver and commute in heavy traffic, I prefer the "refinement" of the MY04. A 9K redline means little when you are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Also, the lack of torque in the MY02 would frustrate me while merging at low speed.
Both cars are great!!! However; for the type of driving I do, the MY04 seemed to be a better fit.
IMO-You can't go wrong with either model...

just wanted to tell u
2.0 liter engines still are all over the place in 04 except in america market
which i can explain people still prefer the 9000 rpm besides americans who always complain about torque on F20C
so the question is why wouldnt they put F22C into S2000 in other country???
all i can come up with is that people likes f20c better still except american

Honda has responded to what the American market demanded in order to sell more units. I don't believe one motor or one car is better than another, just different, representing current buyer preferences, according to Honda's marketing research.
