I go top down windows up all the time on the highway. Do i care if any of you think that's gay? No. Do i care if any of you poke and make fun of me? No.

I bought the car for me, not for the rest of you that think that they know better than me about what i want to do with it. Do what you want, i don't care. I roll how i roll.

Wow, I started a good debate here. Just don't go take it too seriously. I guess I'll put my 2 cents in since I started it.

I have never driven with the top down and windows up. Although some of you have made very good points to why you do it.

I will roll topdown, windows up, on the freeway or when I want to hear my music better.

I do it, but only in conditions that the average person would have already put the top up. Examples:

1. My speed is in excess of 80mph for an extended period of time
2. It's below 50 degrees
3. It's raining hard enough for water to start coming in the car

Gayness. My mom does that when she drives my dad's 06 miata...

97 deg. heat with 70% humidity, if I'm rolling top down without A/C, I'm not putting windows up. F that shit.

Not a huge fan, although... I would rather be TOP DOWN ( ) windows up than TOP UP ( ) windows down
Precisely...Nothing and I mean nothing looks dumber than someone with a convertible top up on a beautiful day and the sun is shining. Seriously though, since when did windows up and top down become the new parachute pants? When was the last time you watched fifth gear or top gear shows and saw them drive with the windows down?

Highways at >70mph

Cool days to keep a little heat in
Agree on all. Also, often when on the phone in traffic so I don't have to listen to the road noise around me (my commute is on a very busy 4-lane road which creeps along at about 7mph around 5pm, so it is plenty safe to be on the BT headset; I'm not talking about going 80mph bumper to bumper.)

It just depends on the conditions or what I'm trying to do while driving.
