I have it up when i'm on the highway for a long 2-4 hour drives or with a girlfriend. Stereo sounds better also. But yeah, it does look tacky when I see other verts with windows up.

If having the windows up with the top down is gay then what are people who have their sunroofs open?

REALLY gay?

I put my windows up when I'm on the highway. I can't hear the radio or speak to the person next to me otherwise and the constant intense wind getting in the car just feels like it's really bad for the already pathetic aeorodynamics.

I think it looks funny, but I'd rather be top up when it's one of those crazy hot days, because I've gotten RIDICULOUSLY darker after I bought the S.
I will only go top down windows up if my girl thinks its cold.

Another missed oportunity for a poll. When will you guys remember to use the poll funtion. I mean if we're going to discuss something so useless and trivial as this, we oughta go that extra mile and make it a poll.
I didn't think the topic would be so popular or I might have. Then again considering it being useless and trivial its probably not worth a poll.

Btw, I tried the windows up tonight for a minute just to see what everyone was talking about (it was dark out side and no one seen it I promise! ) I was very surprised the wind was greatly reduced and so was the noise. Then they went back down, 68 degrees at night FTW!

whats wrong with driving top down and with windows up? i do that all the time when i'm on the freeway.
I agree, when the temp's are too low outside, I do it all the time. Nothing wrong with it at all imo.

it is something to be VERY ashamed of.

What is the use of having a convertible if you put the windows up ?

Mike

p.s. Proud to say, I have 220,000 to 260,000 miles in a convertible with the windows down and less than 1 mile with the windows up.
Bullshit. I put the roof down, that's why it's a convertible. Has nothing to do with the windows.
