Why Blow?
I've had some experience with FI. SCed a 92 Mustang GT, raised the boost in my 300ZXTT, and put a large turbo in a 240Z by dropping in a 2.8 liter, taking off the fuel injection and using a holly (suck through system). Even had a factory turbo corvair (a long time ago!).
I like turbos. Power rush! The only problem I had was with the 240 as I'd get some blow by and had to make sure the water injection wouldn't dry up or I would get pinging (I know I'm dating myself). But I ran the motor for 50K that way with never a problem. In fact, I never encountered a turbo related problem.
I'll eventually put a turbo on my S. But, I'm going to wait a few years. I figure you can enjoy the car as it is now, use up the warrantee period, and then when you do add FI you'll have something new to enjoy all over again.
