ROFL! Really! Putting that kind of mileage on your car, I'm surprised it would ever need service. Oh, but it's all VTEC.

I haven't owned my S long enough to have any dash lights come on. I'm going to have to get the book out and look up what to watch out for.

Well, that answered my question. The last time that light was reset, was 2.5 years ago. That was 7500 miles ago.

But nobody told me the page numbers for the owners manual. I don't think it's included in mine. It talked about all the other lights, like check engine, abs, etc. but not about the maint req'd light.
I hope you change your oil at least once or twice every year, regardless of mileage......

It IS in your owner's manual.

The maintenance light blinks and goes out from 4500 to 6000 miles since last reset. After 6000 miles, it stays on until it's reset.

with everyone else the maint. light comes on after so many amounts of miles u hold in ur trip button while u turn the key to acc and it will blink and then click off and reset it self. It's the easy mod you can do to your s besides puttin a sticker on it... . btw Does anyone know where i can get one of those collectors manuals??

Still, nobody has given page numbers for the manual.

I suggest reading every page of the manual, you'll learn a bit about your car.

I don't mean this as a flame, I just really think everyone needs to read the owners manual. Tons of good info in there.

Great advice! That's how I found where the fuel filler door release button is located.

How do you like those CG locks? I'm considering.
