Default Why Do European S2000's Have Headlight Sprays?

I noticed European S2000's have these headlight nozzle sprays...did anyone put them on their US S2000's?

Looks kinda good.

The sprayers are required by law in some European countries. (Sweeden for one)

They are a pain in the butt ,most UK owners have made the mistake of leaning on the washer button and either getting soaked or spraying the hood of their freshly wax'd S

In Europe cars with HID lights are required by law to have the headlight sprays. On '02 models (like mine) the button was moved to the dash (where you guys have the Cruise control button) so that it's not possible to accidentally push the button with your elbow!

Btw, to disable the washer, you just pull a fuse.

they are required by law in europe, as the EU deems that dirt on the headlamp itself can interfere with the HiD beam, thus making them a potential hazard for the driver (not putting the beam on the road properly) and also for oncoming traffic (altering the beam towards oncoming traffic). So theory is that everyone has clean headlamps!

IIRC, on most european cars - if you pull the windshield washer whilst your lights are on, it will spray the headlamp washer too.

Funny though - I dont know if this is the case with UK S2000s as I pulled the fuse on mine the day i got it!
