It is the most involving car I have ever driven in and doesn't force you to live with your parents.

build quality

interior ergonomics (for me)

convertible

reliable

I could go on and on

I must say I love my NSX its the car of my dreams. However the S2000 like the NSX are one of a kind cars and you know it when own one.

Like I said before that RAW POWER AND HANDLING EDGE that the S2000 possesses is unmatched.

How can you not love that car and want another. I know I do!

Most people have no idea what an S2000 is. It's a subtle, timeless car. I like that.

I love mine because it's a racing machine. It wasn't made to be comfortable and luxurious. It wasn't made to store lots of stuff. It's a pure drivers car.

It's also reliable as hell and easy to maintain.

I doubt there are many cars that are as nimble as the S2000. Take a look at the results from any auto-x. Guaranteed that 90% of the time, the S2000's have are in the top three or even have swept the A-Stock class. What's that tell you? They're up against some mighty competition, too. STI, E46 M3, 993, Evo's, etc. But all that aside, I just love putting the top down on a nice summer day.

If you want something else, consider the Elise.

The car has character, something that engineers labor to design out of most other cars. The racous motor, the lively chassis, the sexy sheet metal, the mininmal interior. It is viceral and special.

Best kept secret in the automotive world.

To echo an earlier poster: SOUL is what this car has. If you love this car, it manages to love you back. It rewards you for driving well. Driving the car is such an involving experience, that the more time you spend with it, the better you get to know it. A bond is developed knowing that this is truly YOUR car.

It's a niche car. It's an enthusiasts car. It's hardcore.

In a time when 3-ton SUVs are capable of sub 5-second 0-60 times, and family sedans are boasting more than 250 HP, the S2000 was created with balance, agility, and most importantly experience in mind. Those of us behind the wheel know it's not about going faster. It's not about HP bragging. It's all about the most fun to be had on four wheels, and always taking the long way home.

I love my car. There are times (rarely) when I wish I had the _______ or I wish I could afford a _______, but the moment my middle finger presses that start button, those thoughts are so quickly left behind, lost, forgotten, and muted in that 9k song we AP1 guys love so much

I can't think of another car I'd rather tear-ass around town in, at ANY price.

I love it because I just got back from driving in the sun with the top down, and I got all giddy when she started screaming at VTEC

Well said Nate, I couldn't have put it better myself. Honestly, I never really cared much for the s2000 ever since it came out. I didn't think it was anything special, and I never would have pictured myself buying one. That all changed, however, when I finally drove one.

Everything flows together so perfectly on this car, and everything serves a purpose. You feel 100% connected with the car and with the road--it feels alive. Everything is so raw and visceral and the adrenaline really starts pumping once you hit VTEC. It's the most fun car I've ever driven. Everything else really feels numb and disconnected in comparison...

If I had to answer in 30 words or less why the S2000 stands out, I would say:

It is absolutely the most honest and genuine design out there, in the entire automotive world. A normal human being can afford it, and it's great fun.

That is only 27 words, so I have met the goal.
