I look at things this way, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i cannot do much of anything to change that, if somone likes it, then they like it, if they hate it then they hate it.
However, when someone damages my property or has the audacity to confront me personally and call me names (hasn't happened to me, but there are plenty of stories in this short thread already), than I have to wonder what's wrong with people.

Are you suggesting that you're okay to deface other people's property because they have something you don't like?

My wife and I went to the movies last night. I dont usually take the S because I wont be able to see it for 2 hours or more, but just installed a T1R Sparrow and was loving the sound. So anyway, I usually park out away from everyone else , find an end parking and take up 2 spots. Well, someone didnt like that last night so they threw landscaping bark and pine needles all over the hood which chipped the paint in one place.

Our car is polarizing in some respects. For the first few years of the car's existence, they were rare to see, and really only enthusiasts ever gave the car notice. These days, it's just a "haves" and "have nots" thing.

As for the 350Z crowd, well, it's a testosterone thing.

Degenerates...

Having fallen to an inferior or undesirable state, especially in mental or moral qualities.

Thats what these kind of people are IMO

That sucks, and it was extreme, but you did take up two spots. It just seems arrogant when an owner of a nice car thinks can take up 2 spots because he's "better". If you had just parked far away, in a single end spot, I doubt anything would have happened to your car.

This is generally a bad idea. I personally use to park far away (not so much anymore) but never park in anyway to draw attention to yourself. Especially if your movie theatre is anything like the ones around here, they so jam packed that people have to park in near by lots, so taking up 2 spots is just asking for someone you pissed off to do something.

As far as why people are hating? It's obvious, they are mad that your civic looks so much nicer than theirs

Taking up two spots in any car is a good way to get yourself "noticed" by the type of jerks who deface cars. I usualy make my opinion that the guy who does that is an asshat without ever having seen him. Parking far enough away should be sufficient, no?

As much as I love my car, pour tons of money on mods into it and spend rediculous ammounts of time detailing it, I still park with everyone else. I would much rather get a tiny door ding from some little kid not being ncareful getting out of the car than some asshat drawing his name on my trunk with a key.
