7/10 times its a positive remark for me. however, there are people who just don't like hondas or imports in general and people who are jealous. i suffer from the latter a lot because i go to college (not an expensive one) in a city (low class for the most part) and keep my car on campus. its been vandalized 2 times (cut soft top and paint-balled) but it happens. it comes with the territory. owning a sports car is a bold statement; be prepared for backlashes and outbursts from people.

I have been fortunate enough to not have my car vandalized, but mainly just because its a third vehicle that i dont leaver parked anywhere for too long. If we go to a restaurant, I try to park where I can see the car. If I cant, then I go out about every 20 minutes or so to check on it. My wife is very understanding about this and will even sometimes remind me to go I have been tempted to take it to the movies on a warm summer night, but I just cant get myself to do it just for that reason. Most of the ribbing I take is from some "friends" that say my Honda is slow or nothing special, cause I dont have thousands of dollars in mods and any asshole with 30k laying around can get one. Other people have positive things to say. Bottom line is that its just plain jealousy because it is an impractical car that makes it look like you have money and a smalll penis.

people are jealous, its as simple as that

I was driving downtown one summer night here in Montreal, and one of our busy downtown streets "Crescent" which has bars and clubs on both sides of the street, and a couple guys were having a beer on a terasse on the 2nd floor of a building looking down at me in my car and yelled out to me "Bring daddy's car back home..."

I just looked at them gave them a thumbs up and laughed!
I was 20 and damn proud to be driving my self paid S2000 and took that as a compliment! I am by NO MEANS the only 20 year old driving an S2000 but people are just jealous of young kids driving nice cars.

Its a fact that im driving a car that quite possibly those guys will never be able to afford in their life Its quite pleasing actually

This one guy was talking crap about s2ks a couple days ago. He was saying s2k's are slow POS's and that he would rather have a regular Neon than an s2k. blah blah.. Even a v6 mustang could smoke a slow2k. This was in an online game btw, I doubt he would say that to my face. lol
