We had a drive today up in the Bay Area, and when we were in the parking lot before heading out we got some guy coming up fawning over our cars. I get nothing but love =)

 

wow that's weird. I live in socal as well and i get nothing but comments and praises from fellow enthusiasts whether they would be driving nissans, toyotas or even euros.

 

i get nothing but compliments in seattle

 

i live in hawaii, 18 years old and i pretty much drive to work school and home

i shoulda bought an ap1...

Really? Everyone that has commented my S2000 has said nothing, but good things about it.

 

I usually get praise about the car. The only people I know who talk smack about it are people that drive some POS or people that know absolutely NOTHING about cars.

It's funny, one of those people who dissed my car, calling it girly and gay, used to drive a freakin Miata. Now my "girly car" has the same hp as his new Eclipse, with 2 less cylinders, way sexier curves and handling that would leave his Mitsubishi tank in the dust through the curves.

 

ahahaha i had this guy in a civic with a BUAW flipped me off on 78 as he passed me....so i downshifted to forth and redlined it past him giving him the thumbs down hahahaha i think it pissed him off more than his stupid finger and shitty car pissed me off...trust me on that one...shoulda seen his face as i flew past like he was standin still....

i'm with you bro...wtf is it with all these people thinking the s2k is slow...another story...i was on cedar crest blvd between the hospital and emmaus..i stopped at a redlight with an evo 8 in front of me loaded with like 6 passengers...seriously they were stuffed in there...well these two bikers behind me were like "yea the evo's gonna take off the and the honda's gonna try to keep up..." i turned around and was like...dood he has 8 people in his car...he's not going anywhere...." well like i thought the light turned green and the evo took off....i was on his ass the whole time, he just couldn't get away from me it was really funny....

another thing is everyone wants to prove themselves or something to the s2000...i was on I78 by route 100 just cruisin in the right lane...this blue WRX comes flying up to my side...i give him the thumbs up cuz his car seemed hooked up and he floors it shooting flames out the tailpipe and like starts weaving through traffic like some johnny tran wannabe...sigh...putting other people's lives at risk

lots of people underestimate this car...but i've had the few rare ones that show respect...get this...it was with an old muscle car owner...he had a late 60's chevelle and the thing was a beast from what i seen and heard...i told him he had a nice car and he's like hey your's isn't that slow yourself man!!!...lol put a smile on my face to be told that
