Rick,

I will try and take some pictures this weekend and post them. I worked with my mechanic to do the intall. He is a great guy and has worked on all my imports since I bought my first Honda Civic back in 77. He let me do all the gauge install, and them we worked together one day on the sensor install. More to come

Greg

Rick,

While I am not the master of great direction like yourself, hopefully the following will make sense on how I did my senor install. There is a bleeder valve on the driver side front of the engine block. What Tony my mechanic and I did, was to remove the valve and then install a 'T'. To one side of the T we put the bleeder valve back and the the other we installed the sensor. The first shot if a overhead photo of the install.

This shot if from the front.

And finally a shot of the oil sensor

I hope this helps. It seems to work very well. The wiring is in the same cover as stock, and I think that most people would assume that it is stock.

Greg

A note to ragtooth, yes you can install a clock that looks just like the rest of the gauges.

What's up with the gauges?
Where did you get them?
How much?
What the the (4) gauges show?
How difficult to install?

yellows2000,

Check out the post; https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=35659

covkid48 did it first, Rick and James and myself have since done the install.

Yes this is a fairly challenging install, but I am really happy with the results.

We've figured out why the water temperature is running low, and it has nothing to do with the location of the sensor in the upper hose. My instructions for the install seemed to have omitted an important point about grounding the water temp sensor. Reedz had a different set of instructions that mentioned this important point. With the ground attached, the water temperature is now reading where it should, above 170 degrees with full warm up.
