im running OEM lip with GP sides (because i dont want to mess up my GP front bumper) and i think it looks alright, but the sideskirts look a little too aggressive for the OEM lip. i like the look of an OEM lip with stock sides and rear, makes the car look more complete and more aggressive. but i guess to each his or her own, i used to rep the oem front with no sides/rear, and i liked the look of it.

 

eh... i like the ap 2 lip, but i cant say the same for the side strakes.

 

my choice is to just get the lip, but not the strakes, specially since i heard ya had to drill a hole to mount the strakes =(

 

i have a lip cause i think the front looks naked without it. i wasn't really a fan of sidestrakes till i got mine! plus mine were free

 

hell i'd be a fan of the side strakes too if someone gave em to me for free

 

I think the lip w/o the sides looks fine
I also agree that the side strakes looked tacked-on

I currently have nothing on my car since i'm broke
but i'm sure one of these days I'll add a lip of some kind

I'm considering adding a lip to mine, although honestly I doubt many people will even notice besides me. I think its kind of like an afterthought that adds a little more aggression?

 

The lip certainly makes it look more aggresive.. especially for ap2s. But i kinda agree with topic starter. If you look at the side of an ap2 with just a lip, it doesnt look 'complete'. For ap1s they look fine with just the lip.meh.. i like my ap2 slammed without a lip..looks just as aggresive
