I think the lip is a must on the S2000

As for the side-strakes? In my case, I would like to have them, but don't think it's a "must" like the lip. Also, I couldn't justify paying so much for such small pieces of plastic, and don't like the fact that you have to drill holes into the car ...

Yes the front lip also requires some hole-drilling, but those holes are hardly noticeable compared to the hols for side-strakes.

Also, doesn't the lip work? I thought it's supposed to help reduce turbulence a little bit

I'm not a fan of the side skirts and strakes. It looks fine with just the front lip but to me, a little better balanced from the side with a rear spoiler. In the end, the only important thing is that the owner is happy with the way the car is set up.

It depends on what kinda lip.. I think the OEM lips are fine without any strakes or side skirts. Some lips need side skirts to flow well.. Such as the airwalker. Also a lip like the AP1 Amuse to me wont flow with any side skirt out there.

Why do people add a lip to their car if you don't have side skirts or strakes?? IMO just having a lip doesn't have that finished look. does anyone else think the same? So why do YOU add a lip?
Gotta have a lip first then the side skirts. Can't have the side skirts first then the lip later. That'd be weird.

i have a oem lip and love it, as well as the oem side strakes. i dont think they look as bad as recent post have descirbed, but i wouldnt mind swapping them out for the comptech sides. either way its all personal opinion. but i do think ap1s look naked without a lip.

I think the AP2 especially looks nice with just the front lip. I have never liked the strakes.
