Last night @ around 3am I was driving home, some Green Accord sedan ran over a object and kicked it up in the air and guess where it heads? the Mobile Magnet (my Car) it hits the Front bumper and scraps it some deep chips and some scratches. I dunno if i should fix it or leave it. its noticeable if ur looking at it from up close but if u look at it from a distance it just looks dirty. . So far I had fixed my bumper and fender, Replaced my Windshield (just about 3 weeks ago due to a rock that hit it) had two things hit me on the freeway. (a blown out tire and now this) . ahhh oh well just had to vent . Anyways back to the subject. What would you guys do Fix it? or Leave it? i have a feeling its gonna be around the 300 + range, (only bumper damage). BTW I only had my Car since Feb.

Ouch! I totally feel your pain on that one!

Personally, I'm too anal about things (especially the car) to not get it fixed. Is it something that you think could possibly be fixed if you did it yourself (ie: touch-up paint or the wet sanding technique)? If it was me, $300 would be worth it to not have the aggrevation of seeing the imperfection.

Good luck with it - no matter what you decide to do!

I think if i try to fix it myself. Im gonna make it worst and to get rid of the deep chips i think someone who knows what there doing is gonna be needed.
ANd i think its impossible for me to keep my car in MInt condition seems like its mandatory for me to have at least 1 blemish or minor scuff, So i have to keep passing the blemish's along till i find one that i can live with.. Then there will be no more problems

Is there REALLY a choice other than to fix it ASAP?

If it were me I know I wouldn't be able to enjoy the car until it was repaired.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune

Fix it. Bring it to a body shop and they'll fix it like new.

Same thing happened to me twice. I am not fixing it because I am going to be getting a body kit and am not worried about the little dings.

i hate it when things like that happens. whenever i drive the S on the highway, i always stay at 3 car lengths behind. this will allow me time to move out of the way if something is lying on the road ahead of me. if a debris is flying your way, at least you're far back enough that if you didn't get out of the way in time, you'll at least suffer less damage.
