Default Why my fellow s2k buddy was left with only a warning.....

Ok, this is rather random but I thought it was worth putting up to honor my only s2k buddy here. As always, Timmy loves taking his supercharged s2k out for a drive at night. Last night was no ordinary night but after a few minutes, it started snowing (more like dusting and not sticking). A cop decides to pull him over for doing 60 on a 40. He does the general routine check, ANOTHER cop pulls up too. So they come back and ask my friend if he knew that he was speeding. Timmy was very aware that he was speeding but had no good excuse. So the next thing that comes out from his mouth to the cops was "I'm sorry sir. You see, I have performance tires and I really need to get home before the snow sticks to the ground". Guess what, the freaking cops bought the story and asked him to go home with only a warning! That lucky b**tard. Maybe you might not find it funny but if you know Timmy, man it was FUNNY AS HELL! And to add, I guess cops aren't that bad, just as long as they stay away from me.

PS. Names have been changed, in case he reads this =)

Tommy needs to grow up! Speeding in snow conditions is asking for an early grave.

And I don't find a the possibility of a needless, tragic death funny.

I second that, its highly dangerous and I wouldnt want to see a dear friend in hospital (touch wood).

But I guess it applies to everyone, speeding irregardless of the conditions is dangerous, period.

Good story... i wish when i was going 97 in a 65 with my jeep wrangler cuz i was going to be late to work that they would have understood that.

Actually one time a cop was cool, when i first bought my Wrangler i cruised through a stop sign once and a cop was just past the stop sign watching people to make sure they stop... and he pulled me over and i told him that i just bought the jeep and i'm learning to drive it, and it was hard to stop at the sign cuz of the weight of the vehicle. He somehow bought that and let me go.

Haha.....must take notes, good stuff. But knowing me, I will panic and break down. Seducing does not work, but once a cop stopped me to ask me what car I was driving. That was kinda odd but I didnt mind it the least bit.

I bet cops share stories over donuts about the darnest excuses they get and then point and laugh at us. They will not win, we will invent new ones. Man the lengths I go to amusing myself .. hehe
