Well let me just say that the Z06 would be most polite of the domestic bunch but the fact is still drives itself and there is where they always make the biggest mistake. POWER is not everything.!!!!
You really have no idea what you are talking about. How about you stop posting made up bullshit until you have driven a Z06.

I have, as soon as my neighbor gets it back cuz he just crashed it, Ill post a pic to make u happy oh then again I cant post pics, well then I guess I could E-Mail them to u.
Dont get me wrong the car is incredible but like I said to much power, to little control. U gotta be watching yourself all the time cuz it will drive itself.
What r u doing with a S2000 if u worship the vette so much? As far as I know those who S2ks know what control is.

Sharing lessons learned via track time in various cars, which I don't see you doing. In my opinion people who have experience with a variety of cars bring a lot more value to the discussion than people who lack that objectivity. Too many people proclaim the S2000 to be the greatest thing since Type R bread without actually having driven the cars they're denigrating.

After your most recent posts, I'm not sure if you're saying the Z06 is too easy to drive or too hard to drive, but I'd disagree with you either way. The Z06 is very tractable for a car with that much power, but whenever you've got 405 horses at your beck and call, you need to be careful with your right foot.

You do realize that the Z06 posts up better performance numbers than the S2000 in every single category; i.e.

Acceleration
Stopping
Lateral acceleration (skid-pad)
Slalom
Hell, even gas mileage on the highway.

How this translates into too much power and not enough control is a mystery to me. Simply put, the Z06 is a faster car and a more capable car in terms of handling. If you are not a good enough driver to harness more than 240hp and 150lb feet of torque, don't start blaming the vehicle, blame yourself.

I'm not trying to knock you, but it's clear you have zero experience with the car which makes me wonder why you would make such outrageous statements regarding it.

What he means is that the Z06 has oversteer. He's just too ignorant to know the proper term and not good enough of a driver to handle the oversteer of a car with that much power.

I always think it's funny to hear people argue about "which car is better." I get crap like that all the time. I've always driven Japanese cars, and I ALWAYS get an idiot telling me I should have bought an American car, with a stupid reason like "for the money you coulda had...."

For <$35k, I think the S2000 is one of the best cars you can buy. I could back that up with all my reasons, but why? All I would get (anywhere other than this site) is a pile of reasons someone else thinks otherwise.

I suppose you can compare things like straight line acceleration, etc. But why, in the end I don't car. What I DO care about is having fun driving my car. And YES the faster it is, the better it handles, generally the more fun I'll have. In the end I just think it's difficult to compare cars without first putting them into classes (and to me the S and the Z06 are different classes) and within class it'll always come down to opinion. Even after a race, there'll always be opinions for why the winner won and the loser lost. The debate will never end.
