I was giving you a few "jabs" because of your comment about the S2000 needing oil changes every 1000 miles. Where did that come from?
(Just having fun with ya. )

You are wrong about that... I don't abuse my car and I have had some of the problems... wobbling axles for one.

It is interesting to see that one case posted about a rear end locking up makes it a widespread enough problem to make all S2000's suspect. While there may be an issue that has yet to be confirmed, we know not what the real reason for that accident was as we are not privy to all the facts, only the driver's perspective of what he/she thinks happened.

That being said, I agree that the S2000 is not perfect as I have had to change my clucth andadjust the tranny to get rid of the potential grind issue, yet I would not say that the tranny suck ba!!s as someone so eloquently put it. I actually think this tranny is one of the smoothest 6 speed manual trannies that I've ever had the pleaure of driving. It does need to warm up, but once there, it i a dream.

Overall, the car has some issues, but no fatal flaws in my opinion. In fact plan to keep mine as long as my wife lets me.

If these potential issues scare you, then don't get one and you wont have these worries. But you wont experience the amazing thrill of owning and driving one of the best drives on the road.

xviper,

It bothers me that a non-owner can post a vote on a poll. I think poll voting should be limited to "owners" so that people don't water down the votes with dumbass votes.
