Yeah, I'm just wondering how much of that is from the ITBs and how much is from the tuning. People with the EMS are reporting 15-20HP gains mid-range over the stock ECU when tuned on pump gas.
The green line is a fully tuned AEM EMS on my car without the ITB's. The red line is with itb's. These gains are just from the ITB's and a re-tune of the existing computer.

Simply badass.

I wish I could get a set of ITBs on my MY06.

Keep us updated when you get an aftermarket header/exhaust.

Oh, and how's the idle in traffic?
Idle is fine when warm...very touchy and grouchy when first started up in the morning. It takes about 3 minutes to warm up to where it will play "nice"

He should be able to pick up at least another 20 peak hp with a bigger header and exhaust.

Too much airflow coming in and a bottleneck at the other end =
Yep. Unforunately, this is where the modding ends for me, unless I get parts for christmas

It's time to focus finances elsewhere.

Many thanks for the clarifications and the smaller pics You've got a nice solid mid-range benefit there and for ~$2000 + tuning that's not too shabby. You'll give some back when you add filters but a freeflowing header and exhaust should more than compensate.

^^^I agree. My top end shows that the stock exhaust and/or cams limit your peak on an N/A setup. With all the midrange I have now, the car is much, much more driveable all through part throttle driving. The car doesn't feel like it has to work to build speed now, it just comes almost effortlessly. VTEC is an absolute animal, as now I can very easily drift corners that before I'd stick to like glue. A good 4-1 header will open up my top end a good bit, with a decent exhaust afterwards. I'll probably go with a Comptech exhaust at a later date, not sure on which header yet. As for now, the car feels it has more than enough guts to keep me happy, which is good, since I drained the bank on this project

I did do my dyno's in stages to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that ITB's do make power above just an ecu tune. If any of you are ever in Orlando, PM me, I'll let you take it for a spin
