Fantastic setup! Congrats! Two questions though:

1. What effect do the ITBs have on gas mileage in day to day driving?

2. Is an ITB setup compatible with the MY06 ECU?

I'm not even sure they would be compatable with any OEM ecu. Nate has an AEM EMS stand-alone ecu...and should probably be the way to go if you want ITBs.

You must run a standalone with ITB's. Even if you use a vacuum tree to have a MAP sensor you must base the tune primarily on TPS.

The MY06 will be a hassle because you have to rewire the car since it is a DBW system. You can use a 00-05 wiring harness and replace some of the appropriet sensors and make it work that way.

Sweet! I'm an induction noise junkie, so I don't really care whether or not you're making a few more ponies, I love the setup! The fact that you have been able to get good drivability on the street is what matters most. It's so cool out now, I wonder how much trouble the setup is going to be next July. I've gotten use to boost now and probably couldn't go back, but if this works out well as a daily driver it's going to be tempting.

There is more to a cool car than just raw horsepower.

How complicated was the install?

Is this something you can easily revert back to the stock intake?
The install went fine, except for a busted tps...which was a PITA to fab up a way to use the stock honda one. It can be reverted back to stock, but not very easily.

Here's a silly question - the horns dont seem to have any screens in them, you also mentioned 'hood vents'. I assume you're planning on adding something to prevent debris and small rodents from getting into your engine? Any concerns with water?

Looks very nice
As I said in my first post, filters are being constructed right now. They will be a very high-flow, chemically attractive filter compound that has a very low pressure drop. I do not expect to loose even 1 hp through my filters.

I have no concerns with water...my air horns are a full 6 inches inboard of the inside cut of my hood vents.

1. So far highway gas mileage has been improved. I averaged 32mpg on the trip from Orlando to Port Charlotte today. City is about what it was before, 25 mpg. WOT is a different story, as my fuel map looks like a vertical wall at 100%. I burn as much fuel at 2000 rpm at WOT as I do at 8000 rpm at 75%. I would venture to say WOT fuel economy is in the single digits

2. No. You need a stand alone ecu to run ITB's, and as far as I know, none have been produced for MY06 and up cars yet.
