One of my mufflers fell off so I'm replacing my exhaust and have a friend with an ap2 exhaust for sale. Would the ap2 bolt up to the ap1 car? I have seen some people do the opposite (ap1 exhaust on ap2 car, not really sure why though...) but not ap2 on ap1.

Anyone done this?

Why do people put ap1 on an ap2, is there any real difference other than tip shape?

 

yes, it'll fit. but the tip might be too big for an ap1 bumper, imo.

 

im pretty sure the brackets changed 04-05. It should fit though, without one of the brackets. Most people give away the stock exhaust, so i wouldnt be looking to pay too much for one
