I still think that hot air from the engine would go into the intake, resulting in same or loss of horsepower still. Best to do is get a cai.

 

NO! That sort of shield would be good for reflecting "radiated" heat. It won't keep out air that is already heated from going around it and into the intake. But is sure looks PURDY. If that's important to ya, get one and tell us what it "feels" like.
