I wonder what happened to OP. 6’7” at 245 is not a bad size. Average American for that height.

I am 6’5”, 217lbs with a 37” inseam. It is a tight fit and when I was 245 it was even tighter. I genuinely doubt that you would fit at your height and likely shoe size. I actually had a gentleman who is about my height and a bit heavier sit in my car last Saturday. His head was above the windshield frame. I think long torso folks will struggle.

Average? Only like 4% of men are over 6’ 2” in the US....and something like 15% even over 6’...lol. Being a giant is anything but average. And yes, I’m jelly at 5’ 9”.

OneBigGuy (perfect handle by the way), even if you were able to fit, and I think it would be doubtful, you would likely be fairly miserable in one of these cars. I'd suggest more than just trying to sit in a S2000, but to actually drive one if at all possible. I think that even if you were able to fit you would likely find it to be pretty uncomfortable after a short period of time. I don't want to dissuade you from trying one of these cars out, but I am trying to look at your situation from a realistic viewpoint. You're definitely one big guy, and these are rather small cars.

My assumption was that he was referring to being of average weight for his height.

Don’t forget you’ve got to get out too

Ive got no problem dropping in but climbing out is getting more onerous as I get older(68 yo/5’10/205)

I believe he means weight as a ratio of height, which I agree with. 245 for a 6’7” male isn’t that “large”. Yes, tall, but not fat.

I don't think seat mods are going to be enough for you. There is a thread where someone used an aftermarket seat and measured about 4" of seat lowering compared to stock.

If you can find a seat that you fit into, and more importantly fits into the car, and you mount it as low as possible, I think there is a decent chance you can fit.
Wow, tall torso indeed. I'm 6'1.5" and have at least 3" headroom under the top. My legs couldn't afford to be any longer though. Just goes to show so many variables in fitting this car.

Even with being short...I still want the Backyard Special seat rails... Lol

245lb is no problem, but 6'7" might be, esp if a lot of that height is torso (limits visibility, and also potentially head safety in a wreck). I'm thinking a lowered/fixed aftermarket seat would be necessary for you to feel really comfortable.

Oh, and if you do sit in one, don't judge by how you fit in the passenger seat - it always seems more cramped to me.
