Default Will this pose a problem?

I will be installing a Megan header and he stock heat shield will have to be removed. Will this pose a problem if not replaced with a different heat shield. If so where can I purchase a heat shield that will work with this header.

If I wrap the header, will this also work. Please help on any of these subjects. Thanks

Just get a vented hood and you should be fine.

If not, then definitely wrap it

I really don't want to wrap the header, because I don't feel like replacing my header gasket frequently. Besides it looks like crap. LOL. I need a heat shield, is there any out there.

How about the J's racing heat shield. Does anyone know if this will fit.

^ I'm pretty sure the J's heat shield doesn't work with the Megan header.

Buy a Rick's header and you can use the OEM heat shield.

You get a bit more heat in the tunnel, but nothing to worry about. No heat shield needed IMO.

What exactly makes the megan header not work with the stock heat shield?

Would it be possible to modify or fab a small extension for mounting?
