Nix that...the '96 Civic is also a 4 year generation...the '98 Accord is what I heard will start the 5 year life span for Hondas.

Dude, you're right....I forgot that the new year is 2001 with the new Civic...not 2000.

And I forgot about the Prelude...

The Integra's been gettin' the light mods for a while long enough to make it look a little different each time.

And I've never been thrilled about anything before the '9 Accord besides the CRX. Thanks for the corrections...

The current (and apparently last) generation Prelude is in the last year of a four-year run.

Sorry, New Year's Eve hangoveritis. Should have said five-year run. (But then again, this is only according to my dealer....)

As I said in my original reply to this posting, there are a lot of opinions. Won't it be fun to find out exactly what happens? I hate to take the opportunity away from future owners, by my hope is that Honda makes a limited run. I like that we drive exclusive cars. I would hate to wake up one morning and see as many stooks on the road on my way to work as I see Corvettes and Mustangs.

I absolutely agree with you. I like driving this car because it's pretty rare compared to every other car that you see out there and that was one of the reasons I bought this car. Its like you see miata's and civic's everywhere. I hope Honda doesn't do that with these cars..

I'd certainly be less inclined to keep my S2000 if they start becoming 'a dime a dozen'.

I don't know specifics on the production run, but I have heard that the production numbers will decline after 2001. As for the pricing, Grand Honda in Elmhurst, IL advertised having all colors in stock for $28,990. Last week their price in the paper was higher. Of course you must realize, we just had our snowiest and second coldest December on record, so roadsters aren't just jumping out of the showroom doors around here.

Haven't heard any new words, but last August I put in an order for a 2002 Yellow Type V. --- that's guessing that there will be a Type V ---- maybe if enough people order them, they will supply them!!

I could ask my borther in law. He's a supervisor at the Marysville, Ohio plant. He might be able to enlighten us! I'll let you know if he's privy to the info.
